What You Will Do:
You will be the boots-on-the-ground authority ensuring the Army gets exactly what it pays for:
- Enforce the Standard: Inspect, monitor, and evaluate contractor performance across base-wide services, ensuring strict compliance with complex contract specifications.
- Lead the Briefing: Plan and conduct post-award conferences with contractors to establish ground rules and prevent unauthorized operational changes.
- Investigate & Report: Review contractor expenditures, investigate irregularities, and make hard calls on allowable costs.
- Maintain Readiness: Operate motor vehicles between job sites. (Note: Like emergency services, this role supports a 24/7 mission and is subject to irregular hours, shift rotation, and emergency recall).
What You Need:
- Experience: At least 1 year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-07 or GS-09) monitoring, evaluating, or managing contracted services/compliance.
- Education Alternative: A Master’s degree (for GS-09) or Ph.D. (for GS-11) can substitute for experience!
- Clearance & Drive: Must be a U.S. Citizen, hold a valid Driver's License, pass a background investigation, and file an annual financial disclosure.
