Child and Youth Program Assistant (CY-01 / CY-02)

Location: Fort Greely, Alaska (Within 100 miles of the installation)
Eligibility: Open to all U.S. Citizens & Local Residents
Salary / Grade: Pay-banded system. (Plus an authorized 3.00% Cost of Living Allowance)

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Care & Instruction: Provide developmental care and lead fun, age-appropriate activities for children and youth.
Safety First: Actively supervise children during daily indoor/outdoor play, field trips, and special events.
Healthy Routines: Help prepare, arrange, or serve nutritious snacks and meals.
Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a passionate team to implement pre-planned curricula and maintain clean, organized learning environments.

What We Are Looking For:

Entry Level:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Skill/Target Levels: Require additional experience in a group childcare setting (6–12 months) and/or relevant college credits in Early Childhood/Elementary Education or a related behavioral science.

Note: If you wish to be considered for the higher Skill or Target levels, you must submit your college transcripts or certifications with your application.
