What You Will Do:

- Receive, evaluate, and prioritize 911 emergency and non-emergency calls.
- Dispatch and coordinate law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services (EMS).
- Provide life-saving Emergency Medical Dispatching (EMD) instructions to callers.
- Monitor the real-time status of responding units to ensure rapid, appropriate responses.
What You Need:
- Experience: At least 1 year of specialized dispatching/emergency response experience (or qualifying college education for GS-05 level).
- Availability: Ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime (Mission Essential position).
- Drive: Must be able to obtain and maintain required dispatch certifications within 1 year of employment.
- Note: This position requires a completed background investigation.
